ELIGIBILITY
Nominees must be for-profit, single-family builders or lot developers. They may be individuals or
companies, employees or owners. Builders may nominate themselves, be nominated by other builders, or
be nominated by charities, nonprofit organizations, or government organizations they have helped.

HOW TO ENTER
The nomination process is now completely digital! You can register, complete forms, and upload references and images by submitting everything here in an easy, three-step process.

• STEP ONE: Supply background information on the nominee, the nominee’s business, and yourself.
• STEP TWO: Provide detailed information about the builder’s or company’s charitable activities and/or community service activities.
• STEP THREE: Please list at least three references who can confirm and comment on the nominee’s association with and contribution to the charity.

Provide as much detail as possible for each question, and feel free to attach additional company literature.

THE AWARD
A cash award will be donated to the winning builder’s nonprofit charity or community service
organization. The winner will receive coverage in BUILDER magazine and online and be awarded during an in-person ceremony at Builder 100.

SELECTION
A panel of industry judges will select the winner that has made the most significant contribution to public
service over their lifetime. The judges’ selection of the award winner will be final.
